Celebrating the Best Festivals in Contra Costa County

Contra Costa County, California is a great place to experience some of the best festivals in the state. From the Lafayette Art & Wine Festival to the Walnut Creek Street Fest, there's something for everyone to enjoy. But one of the most popular events is the Contra Costa County Fair. Held annually in Antioch, this ticketed event runs from May 18th to 21st and features carnival rides, art and agricultural pavilions, livestock shows, attractions, car races, and two live entertainment stages.

The Bay Area SpringFest is another great event that celebrates the start of spring with plants, crafts, music, and food in downtown Concord. This event takes place in the tree-lined Plaza de Todos Santos and is a great way to experience the largest city in exclusive Contra Costa County. This includes Nepalese, Korean, Filipino, Chinese, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Laotian, Thai, and Burmese cultures.

In addition to all of these great events, the 23rd District Agricultural Association also hosts a food drive at the Contra Costa County Fair. By donating food to the Contra Costa and Solano Food Bank, donors will receive an extra raffle ticket for each can donated. This is a great way to give back to the community while enjoying all that Contra Costa County has to offer. Contra Costa County is home to some of the best festivals in California.
